Oklahoma’s Mayor A Voice of Reason Among Unreasonable Panic

Oklahoma’s Mayor, Brian Hobbs who serves Newkirk, Oklahoma speaks out during the unreasonable panic that has struck Oklahoma and the Country:


I will preface this statement with the fact that as an elected officer, I have encouraged everyone I know to stay home including my direct family my parents my wife’s parents as much as possible. I have asked everyone to practice good hygiene and social distancing. I have asked that people treat this corona virus as a real threat. I have prayed for people to be safe and that God’s will be done. I am not trying to convince anyone that the government is going to line people up in the street tomorrow and execute them. I am only pointing out that freedom has eroded gradually over time. There is a difference between suggesting something and ordering it, backed by the threat of violence.

However, I ask myself with all of my countrymen begging for the government to institute a Nazi Germany, East Berlin type lockdown on its citizens. Why??
Why would our people beg for the government to become exactly what so many have given their lives fighting to resist in many wars throughout our history? The only conclusion I can come to is fear.
I understand people are scared, I understand that fear is warranted to a degree. The men who charged the beaches of Normandy into almost certain death were scared. Every paratrooper who jumped out of a plane. Every pilot that died a fiery death, each sailor who died in a watery grave. Every man who boarded a plane headed for Vietnam. The millions of men who boarded ships to join the fight in WW1. The men who fought in Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, as well as numerous other theaters across the world having raised their right hand and taken a sacred oath to defend the constitution of the United States of America against all enemies foreign and domestic.
I know this opinion is going to be unpopular in today’s age but it needs to be said. My life nor any of yours individually is more valuable than the millions who paid the price to keep our constitution in tact. As veterans we believe deeply in our sacred oaths to the constitution, as we knew one day it may lead to our deaths.
Ronald Reagan once said in one of my favorite speeches,
“You and I know and do not believe that life is so dear and peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery. If nothing in life is worth dying for, when did this begin–just in the face of this enemy? Or should Moses have told the children of Israel to live in slavery under the pharaohs? Should Christ have refused the cross? Should the patriots at Concord Bridge have thrown down their guns and refused to fire the shot heard ’round the world? The martyrs of history were not fools, and our honored dead who gave their lives to stop the advance of the Nazis didn’t die in vain.” and
“You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on Earth, or we will sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness.”

We have an opportunity to remind the world why we will never be conquered, why we for hundreds of years have been seen as a light on a hill. We can still unite and say we will not answer to “papers please”, we will not fall off into the abyss sacrificing all that was bequeathed to us in a moment of fear.
This is not who we are. Let us earn the privilege of the gift so many have fallen to give us.
Stand beside your neighbor. The government has no place shutting down private businesses or locking down cities. This truth is evident in the first amendment (the right to peaceably assemble)These rights were not penned for good times, they were penned for all times especially times of trial.
These rights were not meant to be suspended at whatever point people become frightened. If these rights can be suspended, then they are not RIGHTS, but merely allowances from dictatorial powers.
So I ask you to look into your soul, ask yourself what does America look like when this event is over? Are you ok with you government seizing this power? I need not remind you that the government isn’t known for giving power back after it’s seized.
Next it maybe a particular group deemed a threat. Before you say it’ll never happen; remember the”burning of the Reichstag” and “night of the long knives” the Germans never thought it was possible under Hitler either. The same can be said for the Russian people under Lenin and Stalin, others under Pol Pot, Mao Zedong, Mussolini, and the list goes on. It can happen and those who wrote our constitution knew these dangers all too well and risked life and treasure to ensure their posterity would not have to know these woes.

I was told recently that no one cares about a piece of paper whether the Constitution or the Bible. I’m thankful no one told the men who gave their lives this idea before they went into battle.
Why do we feel our generation has to sacrifice nothing, when so many have paid such a heavy price? Are we so entitled now we have forgotten why we have these freedoms? If we are not willing to stand against this trial and still stand for the constitution, we have to ask ourselves whether we deserve it at all. Are we worthy of their sacrifices? What will we leave for our children?
Just food for thought.

“My name is Christian Ford and I am running for state senate district 28. I am a lifelong Oklahoman, and have lived in Chandler since I was 4 years old.

I am the current vice chair of Lincoln county GOP, I was honored to be able to help draft the 2019 Oklahoma Republican platform, one of the most conservative Republican platforms in the history of the state.

I had hoped that the legislature would take the platform we created and pass constitutionally sound conservative bills that would reflect what we the people wanted.

Carissa Roberson Challenges Greg McCortney For Senate District 13

At their convention last Saturday, the Kay County (OK) GOP voted in favor of a resolution directing State Senator Bill Coleman and State Representatives John Pfeifer and Ken Luttrell to support the Abolition of Abortion in Oklahoma Act (SB13). Tonkawa activist Daniel Watts introduced and spoke in favor of the resolution and the vote of the 21 Kay County Republican delegates was unanimous. The resolution reads:

WHEREAS, We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness;

WHEREAS, The Oklahoma Republican Party Platform directs on the Addendum of page 5 “Be it resolved that the abolition of abortion be brought to a full floor vote in both Oklahoma Legislative Chambers.”

WHEREAS. Abortion is considered a crime under Oklahoma Statutes 21-861 and 21- 862; and

WHEREAS, The 10th Amendment states that “(t)he powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States respectively, or to the people.”;

Be It Resolved, The Kay County Republican Party calls upon Senator Bill Coleman to co-author and fully support SB 13 (The Oklahoma Abolition of Abortion Act);

Resolved, The Kay County Republican Party calls upon Representatives John Pfeifer and Ken Luttrell and  to author a companion bill to SB 13 (The Oklahoma Abolition of Abortion Act).

Kay County is the third county to pass such a resolution, following Cimarronand Woodward Counties.

On Wednesday, Senator Coleman will have an opportunity to agree with or reject the new Kay County Republican platform when a motion to bring SB13 to the Senate floor is going to be filed. There will be a vote on whether to hear SB13 or to table it.

Cimarron County Republican Party Calls Upon Senator Casey Murdock/Representative Kenton Patzkowsky To Support SB 13

410058D0-80E6-42C9-A835-D170CAF68159The Cimarron County Republican Party Convention met at the PTCI Building in Boise City to discuss County Party business yesterday evening.

One of the first items was a Resolution from Cimarron County Republicans calling upon State Senator Casey Murdock and  Representative Kenton Patzkowsky to fully support SB 13 (The Oklahoma Abolition of Abortion Act).  The Cimarron County Republican Party Convention is the second Republican Convention in North West Oklahoma to pass  the Resolution overwhelmingly, following Woodward County’s passage of the Resolution two weeks ago. So far Senator Murdock and Representative Patzkowsky are among the numerous legislators who have refused to join the effort to make Oklahoma the first Abortion Free State and to support the Oklahoma Abolition of Abortion Act.

Two other Resolutions passed the County Convention overwhelmingly, The Sanctuary County For The Pre-Born Babies and The Sanctuary County For 2nd Amendment Rights.  Under these Resolutions all Cimarron County elected officials are directed to declare the County a Sanctuary County for pre-born people and for the 2nd Amendment.

Two rule proposals were also passed to be sent to the Oklahoma Republican Party State Convention, May 2nd to be considered on the Convention Floor.   The first  proposal guarantees every County participating in the Oklahoma GOP State Convention, Three Committee appointments instead of just 1 appointment which Cimarron County receives under the current formula.  The last rule proposal to pass mandates that before a candidate can be eligible for Oklahoma Republican Party support, he or she must read the Oklahoma Republican Party State Platform and mark up what he or she agrees with or opposes.

A special election was held for one of the two District Committee positions and all County Delegates were approved to attend the Republican 3rd Congressional District Convention, April 4th in Guthrie and the State Convention, May 2nd in Oklahoma City.



OK Pastors Encouraged To Sign Letter By Monday Calling Senators To Support SB 13 On Senate Floor

The Abolition of Abortion in Oklahoma Act (SB13) and the 5,000 babies who are at risk for being murdered in our state in the next year need your help. Though the bill was denied a committee hearing, there is going to be a motion next Wednesday, March 11 to bring SB13 straight to the Senate floor. The PETITION BELOW, asking for SB13 to be heard on the Senate floor, is going to be delivered to Oklahoma State Senators on next Tuesday, March 10. So, to ensure your signature is counted, be 100% certain to sign it before 11:59 pm on Monday, March 9. Though these will be delivered first thing Tuesday morning, late signatures may still be delivered, but please sign prior to the deadline if possible to ensure your voice is heard.

And they need to hear from us as a group, knowing that the churches of Oklahoma will be behind them if they do what is right before God. Here are four things every Oklahoma Pastor needs to do:

1) Sign the petition.

2a) Share the petition on your facebook page as soon as possible, explain the importance of the petition, and tag every Oklahoma pastor you know who wants abortion to be abolished; or

2b) Message the petition to every Oklahoma pastor you know who wants abortion to be abolished as soon as possible.

3) Call your Senator to try to set up a meeting before Wednesday to exhort them to support SB13 being brought to the floor.

4) If possible, come to the Oklahoma State Capitol on Wednesday, March 11 from 9 am to noon to line the halls leading to the Senate Chamber and fill the Senate gallery up above the Senate floor. (This action is not just for pastors. Everyone who is able to make it on Wednesday for the motion needs to be there.)

No Freedom of The Press In Oklahoma

No freedom of the press

Earlier today Christian journalists, media and Oklahoma citizens at the direction of Senator Kim David & Greg Treat, were removed from the Senate Media Box and prohibited from reporting Senator Bullard’s successful attempt to pass SB17( ).

This is in direct violation of the Freedom of The Press, freedom of speech and more specifically a discrimination against Christians, abolitionist and concerned citizens who hate abortion and desires to see its total and immediate end.

This further shows that King Treat and the wicked Senate Leadership whom all campaigned as “conservative, Christian and pro-life” will stop at nothing, even breaking the law to silence the truth, SB13 & Senator Silk. This is the failure of the pro-life movement and the fruit of the pro-life establishment.

It has been reported that legal counsel has been sought out and a formal lawsuit may be filed in the coming days.
